Đurić Confers with American Jewish Committee Delegation in New York
The Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Serbia Marko Đurić met today in New York with a delegation of the American Jewish Committee (AJC), led by Jason Isaacson, Chief Policy and Political Affairs Officer, and Agnieszka Markiewicz, Director of AJC Central Europe.
The interlocutors exchanged views on the Serbia–U.S. Strategic Dialogue as an important framework for deepening bilateral cooperation and opening up new opportunities for partnership across a range of areas.
The discussions also focused on opportunities to foster closer ties among institutions in Serbia, the United States and Israel, including through stronger parliamentary cooperation between the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia, the U.S. Congress and the Knesset.
Đurić underscored the importance of maintaining regular contacts between Serbia and representatives of the American Jewish Committee, noting that each meeting provides an opportunity to explore new avenues for advancing cooperation. He expressed his hope that AJC representatives would have an opportunity to visit Serbia.
The interlocutors also discussed the forthcoming Specialised Expo 2027 in Belgrade as an important opportunity to further strengthen Serbia’s ties with partners around the world and to showcase the development, investment and innovation potential of Serbia and the participating countries.
